Today we set a release date for the next full release of SU2: Version 2.0 will be released on Tuesday January 8th, 2013, coinciding with AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting in Dallas.
For people in and around the Stanford area, we also hope to hold a post-release workshop on campus a week before the release. Details to come soon.
Some of the additions that we are planning for v2.0 include:
- Validated turbulence models
- Design capability for RANS simulations
- Plasma solver for air
- Parallel Input/Output
- Further integration with Python
- Grid adaptation
- Incompressible RANS solver
