NASA Metro VTOL Transport Project

NASA Aeronautics Research Institute project examining the technical feasibility of using rotorcraft for transportation on a metropolitan region. The integrated study looked at network design, air traffic considerations and zero/low emission rotorcraft concepts. My research focused on the technical feasibility of an all-electric tandem helicopter to provide short range, point-to-point service in the network.
